The plaque is fixed to the side of this structure on top of Haverbrack Bank SD4880 : Half-buried building, Haverbrack Fell(visible in the alcove between the buttresses). Using a little internet research and the largest scale mapping now available on Geograph it is possible to infer that the plaque inscription includes: 'Haverbrack Tank. 1926. Taylor & Wallin. Civil Engineers. Newcastle-on-Tyne.' Taylor and Wallin appear to have had offices at Saville Place in Newcastle and built structures connected to the water industry.
