Scale Model of Michigan's First State Capitol
A tiny model of Michigan's first State Capitol, on the original site, which is now Capitol Park. This tiny slliver of a park is ground zero for Detroit's current rennaissance. The park is in good shape and I was delighted to find this tiny relic placed here.
"This is a scale model of Michigan's first STate Capitol, which was built on this site. The original building, completed in 1828, was 60' by 90' by 140' feet hight. This model is approximately 1:75 scale."
