Blue Star Memorial Marker
In 1917, U. S. Army Capt. Robert Queisser designed a banner featuring a Blue Star to honor his two sons serving in WW I. During WW II, National Garden Clubs have erected Blue Star Memorial Markers FOR ALL TO SEE, LEST WE FORGET THOSE WHO HELP TO KEEP US FREE - members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard.
