For over 80 years, upon this site stood the first permanent home in the Eagle Rock Valley. A wooden building with its high ceilings and red painted ship-lap siding, typical of rural Southern California.
In the early days it was surrounded by a lush orchard, the fertile land was watered by the farm's windmill. This landmark built at the close of the pastoral Mexican era, witnessed the beginnings of the satellite age.
