Alva Neal High School
This was the site of the Franklin High School from 1909 through 1939 and housed grades 6, 7 and 8 until 1974. In 1928 the Franklin Schools Board of Trustees resolved:
"That the Franklin High School building here after be designated the Alva Neal School in honor of the man who served as a teacher and principal and later as superintendent of Franklin schools at the time the building was erected. "
The building was razed in 1978.
