A broken plaque, Tory Island

The inscription includes the wording, "Oscailte go hoifigiúil le Máire Ní Chochláin TD, Aire Stáit ag an Roinn Ealaíon, Oidhreachta, Gaeltachta agus Oileán ar 18 Iúil 2001. Cuireadh cúnamh ar fáil don togra seo ó chistí struchtúrtha an Aontais Eorpaigh faoin gClár Feidhme [.......] 1994." "Officially opened by Mary Coughlan TD, Minister of State at the Department of Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands on 18 July 2001. Assistance was provided for this project from the European Union's Structural Funds under the [.....] Operational Programme 1994." It is located at the pier (my thanks to a fellow contributor for this difficult translation)
