West Bridgewater Monument, built 1879
The memorial was dedicated on July 4, 1879. It lists the names of the 30 West Bridgewater residents who died in the war. The primary inscription reads, “In Memory of the Citizens of this Town, in Memory of Her Sons Who Lost Their Lives Defending the Government during the War of 1861-1865. Let Us Have Peace.”
