Spinoza birthplace
This plaque idicates the spot where the philosopher Bendedictus de Spinoza was born in 1632. His most important work was Ethica (Ethics). His ideas of freedom of speach, tolerance and democracy are stille relevant today. Next to the plaque is the sculpture and monument dedicated to Spinoza. Submitted by Danny Kalkhoven.
