In 1935 Hornsey Town Hall was the recipient of the London Architecture medal awarded by the Royal Institute of British Architects. Hornsey Town Hall was built to the designs of architect Reginald H. Uren, and in 1981 was declared a Grade II* listed building. It has been underused for many years; however, plans are afoot to convert the building for a theatre group. Link
