Old Wheat Cemetery
John Wheat, an early settler and Revolutionary War soldier, is buried here, along with other members of the Wheat family, including sons John and William Wheat, who served in the War of 1812, and grandsons James A. and William G. Wheat, both Confederate veterans. There are nineteen graves in the cemetery.
