DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF

NAN JOY& LAWRENCE "JOE"
WALLACE
They moved here in 1946.
Nan & Joe were instrumental in getting
water service to Clayton in 1949,
allowing development of our community.
The Wallaces were also an integral
part of Clayton's Incorporation in 1964.
Prior to his passing away in 1967,
Joe was the chairman of
the city's first planning commission.
Nan was the first president of
the Clayton Historical Society in 1974,
and a founder of the CBCA in 1984.
Nan's involvement with her beloved
Clayton ended with her death in 1994.
