Mozart’s Grave
This is the plaque on Mozart’s grave in Zentralfriedhof, the massive grave yard in Vienna, Austria (also home to Beethoven). Mozart’s apartment is bright yellow with giant letters that read “Mozart’s Birthplace” on the building, the world’s most famous music school is named after him, and each museum points out his impact on the city. Therefore, I find this plaque interesting in how simple and humble it appears. You have probably received this plaque a hundred times by now, but it still makes me smile.
