Patricierswoning uit de tweede helft van de 18de eeuw. Gebouwd op de plaats van een vroegere middeleeuwse bebouwing. De gevelversiering is uit de periode van Lodewijk XIV. In de gang rijke rococo ornamentiek. Van 1862 tot 1895 dienst gedaan als kostschool voor meisjes en nadien als openbare bibliotheek tot 1972.

Patrician-house from the second half of the 18th century. Build on the location of an earlier medieval construction. The facade ornamentation is from the period of Louis XIV.
