Gabriel Garcia Moreno assassination spot
This plaque maks the exact spot where ecuadorian president Gabriel Garcia Moreno was assassinated.
The plaque is located in Quito - Ecuador, near the main plaza in downtown, at the outside of the presidential palace.
The plaque is in spanish. The original spanish text says: "Aqui cayo asesinado el presidente de la republica Dr. Gabriel Garcia Moreno el 6 de Agosto de 1.875". Outside the plaque in the wall there is the following encarved text: "Dios no Muere".
The plaque text can be translated as: "Here it fell assassinated the president of the republic Dr. Gabriel Garcia Moreno on August 6th, 1875". Outside the plaque, on the wall the text says: "God does not die"
