This plaque tells the story of three concatenated houses. The building has a front dating from1875, and the construction behind it going further back in time. It served as the 35-bed hospital "St Elizabeth" from 1907-1966 and was converted to a home for the eldery in 1966. It was a home for the elderly until 1974. The plaque mentions the floral stucco decorations above the doors and windows. The building is a Dutch national heritage building ("rijksmonument"). Submitted by Danny Kalkhoven
