OF A STUDENT HOSPITAL GUILD FOR STANFORD STUDENTS. A
TYPHOID EPIDEMIC IN 1902-3 EMPHASIZED A NEED FOR A
HOSPITAL. CONCERNED CITIZENS AND STUDENTS PROVIDED FUNDS
FOR THE TRANSFORMATION OF A THREE-STORY HOME ON THE
CORNER OF LYTTON AND COWPER INTO THE CITY'S FIRST HOSPITAL
PLAQUE PLACED BY CITY OF PALO ALTO IN COOPERATION WITH
THE PALO ALTO HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION ON THE OCCASION OF
