Day of Mourning Memorial Archway, Revelstoke

The stone archway, which stands near the Columbia River at the beginning of the Greenbelt walkway, “marks the transition at the end of our lives from the living to the post-living”. The memorial also includes an engraved stone, which reads: "This stone archway reminds us of the passage forward and the safest way home. The Revelstoke Workers Memorial is dedicated to those who lost their lives as a result of their work. Labour Day 2003.
