Who was this woman memorialized on this plaque?

Bly Ewalt Curtis worked for the University of Colorado for 30 years managing and directing residence halls, retiring in 1963. She was the third woman to serve on the Boulder City Council, from 1952 to 1958, and she was instrumental in creating the City-County Health Department. Curtis was born September 5, 1898 in Kansas, graduated from Kansas State College in 1921 and received a master's degree in nutritional chemistry from University of Illinois. She married George Albert Curtis in 1929. He died two years later in Denver when Bly Curtis was pregnant with their first child, Joan. She moved with her mother and daughter to Boulder in 1934 and began her work at CU, managing Sewall Hall. Mrs. Curtis died in January 1989 in Denver.
