Commercial Bank of Victoria Robbery

28/11/1924, two men walked into the Commercial
Bank of Victoria agency in Hampton St. & shot the
teller William Almieda (22), Mortally wounded,
William, armed with the banks pistol chased them
down the street & captured one.
The other was captured a year later. William died in
hospital the day after the robbery.
