The piece is a subtle celebration of color and commonality; a tribute to the cultural crossroads that make this great city. The varied combinations of complimentary sunset hues build unique individual compositions panel to panel. Each possesses a private beauty, offering a distinct combination of tones borrowed from the backgrounds of its neighbors. The panels sing with a characteristic charge; collectively resonating in vibrant harmony.

 

This mural was commissioned by the Hudson Yards Hell's Kitchen Alliance (HYHK), who proudly partnered with Tishman Speyer.
